  • Boiled Cassava*400 g
  • Fine cassava flour1/4 cup
  • Olive oil (or oil)2 tablespoon
  • Polvilho (sweet or sour)1 tablespoon
  • Seasonings to taste
  1. Start by mashing the cassava well until it becomes a puree. Mix the other ingredients, and a pinch of salt, until you get a homogeneous mass.
  2. Add the stuffing of your choice (my suggestion below) and form the drumsticks. To coat, quickly dip in water and then in manioc flour. Place on a greased baking sheet with a little olive oil and bake for 20 minutes at 200° (or until golden).
  3. Stuffing suggestion: sauté 2 cloves of garlic in a little olive oil. Add half broccoli (with the stalks) cut very small (I put it in the food processor to make it very small), season with salt, black pepper and seasonings to taste. Saute for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Add 200g of very small chopped mushrooms, 10 drops of soy sauce, stir well and sauté for another 5 minutes. Taste and adjust salt if necessary.
  4. * you can use the same amount of manioc, potato or sweet potato!
