Couscous with jerky and fried egg

  • Corn Flake60 g
  • Shredded and desalted dried meat20 g
  • Butter to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Eggs4 unit(s)
  1. In a bowl, place the couscous and cover with plenty of water. Wait for it to settle and discard the water. Repeat about 4 times to wash well.
  2. Finally, let the couscous soak, covering it with water and using a dish towel to cover the bowl. Let it hydrate for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain the couscous, add the jerky, a pinch of salt and a pinch of black pepper. Mix well and place in the couscous.
  4. Bring the couscous pan to the fire and let it cook for 10 minutes, counting from the time the water on the bottom boils.
  5. Heat some butter in a skillet.
  6. Fry two eggs until the whites are set but the yolks are runny.
  7. Serve the couscous on the plate and place the eggs on top. Serve warm.
  8. I love making it for breakfast or brunch.
