- Recipe
- Egg1 unit(s)
- Sugar | 1/2 cup100 g
- Butter | 1/3 cup60 g
- Corn Starch | 1/2 cup70 g
- Cornmeal | 1 1/2 cup210 g
- Baking Powder | 1 tablespoon15 g
- Whisk together the egg, sugar and butter until smooth.
- Add the starch, cornmeal and yeast and mix with your hands until it forms a ball with the dough. The dough can't be too soft. If it's too soft, add a few more tablespoons of cornmeal.
- Make small balls the size of a brigadeiro, flatten them slightly and place in a shape lined with parchment paper leaving a space between them. Mark them with a fork.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 15 to 18 minutes. The correct point is when it starts to brown on the side. It comes out of the oven still soft, wait to cool down to unmold.
