  • butter160 g
  • sugar20 g
  • Salt5 g
  • Colorau10 g
  • Warm water240 ml
  • Seasoned and shredded cooked chicken breast200 g
  • Chicken broth to taste
  • Onion100 g
  • Potatoes, diced150 g
  • Sugar50 g
  • Olive oil75 g
  • Pea100 g
  • parsley50 g
  • Oregano5 g
  • Raisins80 g
  • Olives100 g
  • Salt to taste
  1. In a pan, melt the butter together with the paprika and let it cool.
  2. Then add part of the flour, mix well and let it rest for 1 hour.
  3. After this rest, add the salt, sugar, water and the rest of the flour, making a very firm and smooth dough.
  4. Cut the balls of 20 to 30 grams each, ball them up, grease them with butter and place them on the baking sheets.
  5. Cover them with plastic and wait for 1 hour to rest.
  6. Open the dough, cut and fill.
  7. Place pieces of chicken over the stuffing. close the saltines
  8. Brush with egg and bake until golden.
  9. In a pan, heat the oil and add the paprika, onions and let it fry.
  10. Then add the sugar, the chicken broth and the rest of the ingredients, except the shredded chicken breast and the olives that will be added separately in each saltenha.
