  • Medium onion1 unit(s)
  • Cow's milk500 ml
  • Corn starch2 tablespoon
  • Cottage cheese1 tablespoon
  • Sliced ham500 g
  • Sliced Mozzarella500 g
  • Chimichurri without pepper1 dessert spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Roasted garlic to taste
  1. In a pan add the butter and turn on the heat.
  2. Once melted, add the onion and sauté until golden.
  3. Then add the chimichurri and mix over low heat so it doesn't burn.
  4. Add the milk with the cornstarch already dissolved, stirring constantly.
  5. Add the cottage cheese and stir until thickened.
  6. Turn off the heat and set aside.
  7. MOUNTING: Grease a 30 x 40 rectangular pan with butter or margarine.
  8. Place a thin layer of sauce underneath, so the sandwich will be moist and not stick to the bottom.
  9. Put a layer of bread, one of sauce, then ham, then sauce and then cheese.
  10. Add another layer of bread, the last layer of sauce, the last layer of ham and, to top it off, more cheese.
  11. Finish with roasted garlic to taste for a spectacular touch.
  12. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  13. Enjoy your food!
