- Yellow Cassava1 kg
- Melted butter50 g
- Gems3 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- Wheat flour3 cup
- Diced Minas cheese200 g
- Oil to taste
- Peel the cassava and cook in the pressure cooker until it is very soft. Drain the water and mash with a fork until it becomes a puree.
- Add the melted butter and egg yolks, mixing well with a wooden spoon. Add salt to taste.
- Finally, gradually add the flour. Knead until you get the point (no longer sticking to your hands).
- Shape the dough into balls, fill with the cheese cubes and fry in hot oil until golden.
- Remove the dumplings from the oil with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain.
