  • Salt1/4 teaspoon
  1. Peel the beets.
  2. With a mandolin, cut very thin slices (as thin as you can) and transfer to a bowl.
  3. Add the oil and salt. Mix well and let it rest for 15 minutes, so that the beets release liquid, so they become more crispy.
  4. Discard the liquid and transfer the beetroot slices to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. The parchment paper is very important so that the chips don't stick to the pan.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for approximately 1 hour (may vary depending on the oven), or until crispy. Be careful not to overdo it, otherwise they will become bitter. Let cool before serving.
