  • Cornmeal (1/3 cup)85 mg
  • Wheat flour (3/4 cup)125 mg
  • eggs3 unit(s)
  • Milk (1/2 cup) to taste
  • Water (1/2 cup) to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter75 mg
  • Sugar2 tablespoon
  • Sweet herbs and cinnamon to taste
  1. Boil the milk, water, salt, butter, fennel and cinnamon.
  2. After boiling, and still in the fire, mix the flour and cornmeal well, until it releases from the bottom of the pan.
  3. Turn the dough into a bowl and wait to cool down.
  4. Keep incorporating the eggs one by one (feeling the point of the dough), beating hard.
  5. Grease a mold and preheat the oven to 220 C for 10 minutes.
  6. Shape the scones into the desired size and place in the high oven (220°C) for the first 10 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 200 C until golden.
