- Cornmeal (1/3 cup)85 mg
- Wheat flour (3/4 cup)125 mg
- eggs3 unit(s)
- Milk (1/2 cup) to taste
- Water (1/2 cup) to taste
- Salt to taste
- Butter75 mg
- Sugar2 tablespoon
- Sweet herbs and cinnamon to taste
- Boil the milk, water, salt, butter, fennel and cinnamon.
- After boiling, and still in the fire, mix the flour and cornmeal well, until it releases from the bottom of the pan.
- Turn the dough into a bowl and wait to cool down.
- Keep incorporating the eggs one by one (feeling the point of the dough), beating hard.
- Grease a mold and preheat the oven to 220 C for 10 minutes.
- Shape the scones into the desired size and place in the high oven (220°C) for the first 10 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 200 C until golden.
