- Carolina rice300 g
- Water700 ml
- Chopped small onion1 unit(s)
- Olive oil to taste
- Tomato Pulp2 tablespoon
- Ripe and chopped tomato1 unit(s)
- Large shrimp400 g
- Coriander, salt and pepper to taste
- Garlic (clove)1 unit(s)
- In a pan put the water and salt, when it boils add the shrimp and let it boil a little.
- Reserve the water and peel the shrimp. In a blender place the water, the shells/heads of the shrimp and grind well. Strain the paste and reserve the liquid part, discarding the remaining paste. Reserve.
- In the pan put the oil, onion, let it sauté a little adding the tomato, pulp and seasonings / garlic. Place the raw rice in the above dish for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, then add the result from step 2 and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
