Clean and lightly mashed canned sardines2 unit(s)
Homemade tomato sauce1.5 cup
Dried Oregano1 teaspoon
Chopped Onion1/4 cup
Fresh Basil to taste
Chopped Chives1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Olive oil1 dessert spoon
Finely grated carrot2 tablespoon
Ground Black Pepper to taste

In a pan heat the oil and brown the onion.
Add the carrot and sauté quickly.
Add the sauce, oregano, sardines, season with salt and pepper and mix. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
Finish with fresh basil and chives. Serve accompanied by mashed potatoes.
