Potato Gratin with Shrimp

  • Shrimp500 g
  • medium potatoes5 unit(s)
  • Mustard1 tablespoon
  • Squeezed lemon1 unit(s)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Bechamel Sauce: 250ml of hot milk, 20g of wheat flour, 20g of butter and salt to taste1 unit(s)
  1. Season the prawns with lemon juice, black pepper and salt to taste and set aside.
  2. Cook the potatoes in salted water, cut into slices and set aside.
  3. Prepare the béchamel sauce as usual, melt the butter, add the wheat flour, add the salt and the milk little by little, stirring constantly until you get a creamy and homogeneous consistency.
  4. Grease a baking dish with extra virgin olive oil and layer potatoes, shrimp, smear with mustard on top and drizzle with the béchamel sauce. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes until golden and then serve.
  5. Note: If you don't like shrimp, you can substitute bacon, pepperoni, chicken, etc...! Use your imagination, just be sure to do it 🥰
