  • Fish leaves25 unit(s)
  • Wheat flour1/2 cup
  • Cornmeal Flour1/2 cup
  • Egg1 unit(s)
  • Cold water1 cup
  • Squeezed lemon4 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Turmeric (optional)1 tablespoon
  • Oil for frying1 cup
  1. Start by washing the fish from the garden well, dry well with a dish towel and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cornmeal and egg.
  3. Then, add the ice water and the squeezed lemon, combine everything until smooth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste
  5. Heat a skillet with oil. When it is very hot, dip the fish in the dough and put it to fry until golden.
  6. Once fried, remove them with a slotted spoon and place on a plate lined with paper towels.
  7. Serve your fish breaded with the sauce of your choice.
