  • Tilapia in slices500 g
  • Unleavened Wheat Flour1 cup
  • Cornmeal1 cup
  • Lemon (juice)1 unit(s)
  • Chives or cilantro to taste
  • Garlic (clove)2 unit(s)
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  1. In a bowl, season the tilapia with the squeezed lemon, cilantro or chives, crushed garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Cover the bowl with a tea towel and let the tilapia rest for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, add the wheat flour and cornmeal in another bowl and mix well. After the 20 minutes have passed, dip the tilapia in this mixture to coat. Fry in hot oil until golden.
