  • Chopped Onion1 unit(s)
  • Crushed garlic cloves3 unit(s)
  • Juice of 1 lemon1 unit(s)
  • olive oil3 tablespoon
  • Salt and coriander to taste
  • Live crabs12 unit(s)
  1. In a large pot or pan, sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil or olive oil until golden.
  2. Add plenty of water (about 5 liters) and the other ingredients, except for the crabs, and bring to a boil.
  3. In the meantime, clean the crabs with a brush and plenty of running water.
  4. Pour them alive into the pot of boiling water and let them cook for 5 to 10 minutes or until they are tender (try a little paw).
  5. Serve with rice and pirão.
