  • Wheat flour | 2 cup
  • Dried shrimp | 400 g
  • Onion | 4 unit(s)
  • Peanut | 100 g
  • Chestnut | 100 g
  • Ginger | 1/2 unit(s)
  • Coconut milk | 200 ml
  • Palm oil |  to taste


  1. In the blender potato peanuts, chestnut, shrimp, onion, ginger and 1/2 liter of water. After all the ingredients are well beaten, add the wheat flour and beat on high speed.
  2. Pour the liquid into the pan and cook with the help of a wooden spoon. When it starts to jump out of the pan, add the coconut milk and oil little by little.
  3. Optional to place whole shrimp for the kitchen next to the vatapá.
