- Place the cod in the water to desalt for approximately 3 hours, changing the water every hour. (shreds very thin and set aside)
- In the blender, we are going to beat the onion, the pepper, the dried shrimp a little green smell is the garlic, a little chestnuts, and a little peanut (put approximately 1 cup of water)
- In a pan (large) put the palm oil, place the crushed garlic and sauté, put the seasonings, black pepper, Bahia seasoning and salt (all to taste) also put the shredded cod and saute for 5 minutes.
- Put the mixture in the blender, put the coconut milk and stir well, let it cook.
- Roughly chop the bread, add water and blend in a blender. then put it in the pan along with the seasoning that is cooked, stirring constantly, it will thicken.
- Stir to cook for approximately 10 minutes, add the rest of the chestnuts, peanuts and parsley
- Place in a serving bowl. I garnished with shrimp (optional)
