  • Pressure-cooked carioca beans1/2 kg
  • Oil2 tablespoon
  • Chopped small onion1 unit(s)
  • Minced Garlic Cloves2 unit(s)
  • Sliced pepperoni sausage1/2 kg
  • Bay leaf1 unit(s)
  • Chili pepper, seeded, chopped1 unit(s)
  • Salt to taste
  • Green Scent2 tablespoon
  1. Place the beans in a pressure cooker, cover with water 2 fingers above the beans and cook for 30 minutes on medium heat, after starting to sizzle.
  2. In a frying pan, heat the oil and brown the onion and garlic. Add the pepperoni and sauté for 5 minutes and add to the beans with the cooking water, bay leaf, pepper and salt to taste.
  3. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes or until the broth is creamy. Remove from the heat, mix in the chopped parsley and serve.
