- Pressure-cooked carioca beans1/2 kg

- Sliced pepperoni sausage1/2 kg
- Bay leaf1 unit(s)
- Chili pepper, seeded, chopped1 unit(s)
- Salt to taste

- Place the beans in a pressure cooker, cover with water 2 fingers above the beans and cook for 30 minutes on medium heat, after starting to sizzle.
- In a frying pan, heat the oil and brown the onion and garlic. Add the pepperoni and sauté for 5 minutes and add to the beans with the cooking water, bay leaf, pepper and salt to taste.
- Cook over low heat for 15 minutes or until the broth is creamy. Remove from the heat, mix in the chopped parsley and serve.
