  • Black pepper to taste
  • Chestnut cream100 g
  • Onion powder1/4 teaspoon
  • Dijon mustard1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Lemon juice1/2 unit(s)
  • Thyme or dill to taste
  1. Cut the leek root and also the leaves. Use only the white part. The green part is more bitter and tough, you can use it to prepare broths.
  2. In a serving dish, place the leek and cover halfway with oil. Also add the garlic, thyme, salt and pepper.
  3. Bake for +/- 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C or until they are soft inside and textured outside.
  4. In the meantime, prepare the sauce. Mix all ingredients and set aside.
  5. Remove the leek from the oven and cut into smaller pieces to serve (optional). Save the flavored oil to use in other preparations.
  6. Serve with the sauce and fresh herbs.
