- Onion1/2 unit(s)
- Garlic (clove)3 unit(s)
- Oil1 to taste
- Salt1 to taste
- Bay leaf1 unit(s)
- Black pepper1 to taste
- Cut the onion and garlic into small cubes, place in a pan with a little oil and fry well.
- Add the lentils and let them brown.
- Add the parboiled rice and fry well, season with salt, pepper and bay leaf.
- Add 3 cups of hot water and let it cook!
- Taste and see if everything is cooked and ready
