Ingredients

  • Butter beans, cooked (al dente) and drained | 300 g
  • Black-eyed peas cooked (al dente) and drained | 100 g
  • Cooked long grain rice | 300 g
  • Diced Bacon | 200 g
  • Diced Calabrian sausage | 200 g
  • Shredded Beef | 250 g
  • Diced Tomato | 200 g
  • Diced green bell pepper | 200 g
  • Coriander |  to taste
  • Bottle butter | 50 g
  • Curd cheese | 400 g
  • Diced Onion | 200 g

Recipe

  1. Heat the butter in a thick-bottomed pan, then add the bacon and sausage until golden.
  2. Also add the dried meat and onion, until it becomes transparent.
  3. Then add the vegetables: tomatoes and peppers giving them a good stir-fry
  4. Add the rice, butter beans and black-eyed peas, if necessary, drizzle with a little more bottled butter, finish with coriander
  5. Brown the curd cheese and serve with the baião
