- Butter100 g
- Olive oil50 ml
- White Onion1 unit(s)
- Garlic4 unit(s)
- Cassava Flour500 g
- White Raisins200 g
- Cashew nuts200 g
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Black pepper1 pint
- In a large skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in butter with olive oil and salt.
- When it's golden, add the flour.
- Fry the flour stirring constantly so as not to burn the bottom of the pan.
- Finely chop the cashew nuts, add the farofa together with the raisins and adjust the salt and pepper
- This process of making a crunchy flour is to be done over low heat and with time to not get a burnt taste.
- Oh! Don't forget that garlic and onion are finely chopped 😉
- Serve as you like, you can add more nuts and other dried fruits as you prefer
