  • Orange juice1 cup
  • White wine100 ml
  • Water150 ml
  • Clove2 unit(s)
  • Olive Oil1 tablespoon
  • Sugar1 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch1 teaspoon
  • Small chopped onion1 unit(s)
  • Salt to taste
  1. In a pan, heat the oil and fry the onion until it becomes transparent.
  2. Add the white wine and let the alcohol evaporate.
  3. Add water and orange juice.
  4. Add the cloves, sugar and salt.
  5. Boil for 5 minutes. After that, remove the cloves and discard.
  6. Add the cornstarch and mix well.
  7. If there are a little lumps, pass the sauce in a mixer or blender to make it creamy and uniform.
  8. Serve as a side dish with chicken, duck or pork.
