- Red Lentil1 cup
- Water21/2 cup
- Turmeric1 dessert spoon
- Butter or ghee2 tablespoon
- Finely chopped ginger1 tablespoon
- Green pepper or finely chopped mocha finger without seeds1/2 unit(s)
- Finely chopped onion1 unit(s)
- Finely chopped coriander1/2 unit(s)
- Cumin Seed2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Take the lentil and running water and put it to cook with the 2 1/2 cups of water and the turmeric. Let it cook for about 20 min.
- In a skillet, melt the butter and add the cumin seeds. When fragrant, add the ginger and pepper and fry for a minute or two. Add the onion and fry until browned, without burning.
- When the lentil is ready, add the fried seasoning, salt and cilantro.
