Ingredients

  • Very Ripe Italian Type Tomatoes | 12 unit(s)
  • Olive oil | 1 cup
  • Garlic Cloves | 6 unit(s)
  • Red onion | 1 unit(s)
  • Basil |  to taste
  • Salt |  to taste
  • Black pepper |  to taste

Recipe

  1. Cut the tomatoes in half and the onion into slices.
  2. In a baking dish, add half of the olive oil.
  3. Arrange the tomatoes on the baking sheet, then add the other ingredients and drizzle again with the other half of the olive oil.
  4. Bake at 200° for about 30 minutes or until your entire house smells like roasted tomatoes.
  5. Remove from the oven and place in a blender.
  6. After that, take it to a pan and on low heat let it reduce until the desired texture, I like it full-bodied.
  7. Freeze in jars or ice cube trays, this will make your day to day a lot easier and best of all, it's totally natural!
