- Red Guava1 kg
- Crystal sugar2 cup
- Water1/2 l
- Peel the guavas and cut into smaller pieces to put in the blender. Add the water and beat until a homogeneous cream is formed.
- Pass the cream through a sieve and then add it to a thick-bottomed pan along with the sugar.
- Cook over low heat until the cream has reduced to a jelly-like consistency (about 15 to 20 minutes)
- Remove the jam from the pan and store in glass jars with a lid. Reserve in the fridge for about 2 hours
- Then just delight 😋😋 Ideal to eat with toast, bread or to cover a cake
