- Recipe
- Chunked cassava1 kg
- Salt to taste
- Butter1 tablespoon
- Olive oil1 teaspoon
- Oil for frying to taste
- Cook the cassava in a deep pan with water and salt.
- When it is well cooked, drain and remove the fiber from the center
- Mash the cassava while still hot and add the butter (season to taste)
- Place in a greased baking dish, press well with your hands and place in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the freezer, mark the cassava squares (with a knife) in the size you want, return to the freezer for another 30 minutes
- In a pan with hot oil, fry the cassava squares in small portions until golden
- Remove and let it dry on a paper towel.
- Serve as you like!
