Crush the garlic and place it in the pan with the garlic.
Place the garlic over high heat until it wilts, and before it browns add the rice and salt.
Sauté the rice for 6 minutes before adding the water.
Add the water, keep the heat on high until the water dries up - poke a hole in the rice with the handle of the spoon to monitor the drying.
When the water is 90% dry, lower the heat as low as you can and cover the rice for 5 min. After that, just serve!
