Ingredients
- Rice | 2 cup
- Onion | 1/2 unit(s)
- Garlic | 4 unit(s)
- Thin sausage | 4 unit(s)
- Bacon | 100 g
- Dry meat | 500 g
- Yellow Pepper | 1/2 unit(s)
- Red Pepper | 1/2 unit(s)
- Green Pepper | 1/2 unit(s)
- Salt | to taste
- Coriander | to taste
- Curd cheese | to taste
- Smoked paprika | to taste
Recipe
- Start by desalting the jerky and cooking it in small pieces until very tender. About 40 minutes in the pressure cooker.
- Chop the onion, garlic and peppers. Cut the bacon into cubes and the sausage into small slices.
- In a pan, add the bacon and let it fry for a few minutes (if you think it has released a lot of fat, remove a little).
- In the same pan, add the sausage and the already cooked jerky, give it a light fry.
- Add the chopped onion and after wilting, add the garlic, add the peppers and sauté.
- Add the rice and add salt and seasonings to taste.
- Keep stirring while it cooks so it doesn't burn.
- Add hot water to cover everything, cover the pan and cook over low heat.
- When it is drying, check if the rice is still hard, if it is, add a little more hot water.
- Let it dry completely, turn off the heat.
- Add chopped cilantro and curd cheese in cubes (optional).
- Serve while still hot and enjoy! 😉
