Potato

Descasque as batatas, lave-as e corte em rodelas.

Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut into slices.

Escorra as batatas e amasse ainda quentes.

Drain the potatoes and mash while still hot.

Leve as batatas amassadas ao fogo baixo e acrescente a manteiga. Mexa até incorporar em toda a batata.

Place the mashed potatoes over low heat and add the butter. Stir until incorporated throughout the potato.

Acrescente o leite aos poucos, até chegar a consistência desejada.

Gradually add the milk until you reach the desired consistency.

Depois coloque o queijo parmesão e misture bem. Caso necessário, acerte o sal.

Then add the Parmesan cheese and mix well. If necessary, adjust the salt.
