- Carrots cut into slices | 3 unit(s)
- Hot water | 1/2 cup
- Butter | 1 teaspoon
- Chopped parsley | to taste
- Sugar | 1/2 tablespoon
- Lemon juice | 1 teaspoon
- Cook the carrots until al dente.
Arrange the slices in the bottom of a pan. Add the butter, sugar, salt, water and lemon juice. Cover the pan and cook over low heat until the water evaporates and the carrots are caramelized.
Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
