  • Stale salt or French bread | 3 unit(s)
  • Milk | 1 cup
  • Coconut Milk | 1 unit(s)
  • Peanut | 50 g
  • Cashew Nuts | 50 g
  • Dried shrimp | 50 g
  • Small onion | 1 unit(s)
  • Green pepper | 1 unit(s)
  • Green Smell |  to taste
  • Palm oil |  to taste


  1. Place the sliced bread inside the milk to soften
  2. Beat the onion, peppers, chestnuts, peanuts, shrimp and coconut milk and the green smell in the blender.
  3. In a pan put some palm oil and put the blender mixture to sauté.
  4. Beat the bread with the milk in the blender and place it inside the band with the mixture and go stirring until it forms a porridge when it comes off the bottom of the pan it's good. Always look at the house salt need to adjust to your taste
  5. In a refractory place the vatapá and on top put a little oil and dried shrimp to decorate. If you want to put whole peanuts to be tasty too.
