  • Wheat40 g
  • Milk500 ml
  • Onion1 unit(s)
  • Clove8 unit(s)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Nutmeg to taste
  1. Cut the onion in half and stick 4 cloves in each half, put the milk in a pot to boil along with the onion add salt and black pepper to taste. After boiling, strain and let it cool, we will use only the milk. (but you have to wait for it to cool down)
  2. In another pan, place the butter, wait for it to melt, add 40 g of wheat and stir for about 2 minutes, when it starts to brown, add the milk all at once, always stirring. Use a whisk to avoid lumps, stir over low heat until it thickens to the point you want, grate a little nutmeg and your béchamel is ready.
