- Green Cabbage (large)1/2 unit(s)
- Carrot1/3 unit(s)
- Raisin2 tablespoon
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Sugar1 tablespoon
- Olive oil2 tablespoon
- White Vinegar1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise3 tablespoon
- Mustard (optional)1 coffee spoon
- Finely chop the cabbage and grate the carrot;
- In a bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, grated carrots and raisins. Season with salt, sugar, oil and vinegar. Shake well;
- Finally, add the mayonnaise and mix. If you prefer, you can add a little mustard, but very little, as it steals a lot of the flavor of the salad, which should be more bittersweet and delicate.
- Tip: it's an excellent accompaniment to chicken sandwiches (especially breaded) and barbecues!
