- Cooked Butter Beans1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Chopped red onion1 unit(s)
- Extra virgin olive oil to taste
- Start by soaking the butter beans in water for about 4 hours
- Discard the water and cook the butter beans in the pressure cooker for about 25 minutes or in a regular pan for about 50 minutes (cook with a tablespoon of salt)
- This little bean doesn't form broth so it's perfect for salads
- Chop the red onion and mix with the cooked butter beans
- Season with olive oil and salt to taste
- Serve then or take it to the fridge for like 30 minutes 😉🥗
