  1. Put water to boil in a large pot.
  2. Place the bean sprouts (or any vegetable or vegetable) in this water in the amount that the pan supports. I put in 2 cups at a time, for the size of my pot.
  3. When the water comes to a boil, wait a few minutes. For the bean sprouts I left it for 3 minutes.
  4. Drain the bean sprouts.
  5. Place in a bowl with ice water and ice.
  6. Drain the sprout again.
  7. Now it's time to freeze!
  8. Note: Blanching is a process that helps to maintain the color, texture and flavor of food after freezing. In addition, this process minimizes nutrient losses.
