- Recipe
- Chicken breast500 g
- Onion2 unit(s)
- Garlic Clove3 unit(s)
- Egg1 unit(s)
- Coconut flour (or 4 tablespoons of oatmeal)2 tablespoon
- Smoked paprika2 teaspoon
- Parsley to taste
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Wheat flour4 tablespoon
- Butter3 tablespoon
- Whole milk700 ml
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
- Nutmeg to taste
- For the meatballs: Process the chicken and seasonings.
- Add the egg and coconut flour (or oatmeal). Process until obtaining a homogeneous mass.
- Shape the meatballs. To do this, if necessary, moisten your hands to avoid sticking. Put them in a shape and leave it in the fridge to firm until the white sauce is ready.
- Prepare the white sauce: in a pan add the wheat flour and the butter. Stir until melted and form a dough. Then add the milk little by little, always stirring to avoid lumps. Continue stirring for 6 to 8 minutes, until it starts to boil and the sauce thickens. Season with salt, black pepper and nutmeg, all to taste. Reserve.
- Heat the skillet, add a drizzle of oil and brown the meatballs. Leave for about 6 minutes turning them so they seal on all sides.
- Add the white sauce, lower the heat and cover the pan. Let it cook for another 8 to 10 min. If necessary, adjust the texture with more milk.
- Then serve with rice or potatoes.
