  • Chicken drumstick1 kg
  • Squeezed medium lime2 unit(s)
  • Butter50 g
  • Chopped Onion3/4 cup
  • Chopped tomato without skin and seeds1 cup
  • Hot water400 ml
  • Sour cream200 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Sliced or grated mozzarella cheese to taste
  1. Season the drumsticks with lemon, salt and pepper and leave in the fridge to get seasoning for at least 2 hours.
  2. Heat the butter in a pan and brown the onion well. Add the chicken and let it brown well on both sides.
  3. Add the tomato and mix, add the hot water, stir and cover the pan. Let it cook until the chicken is tender. Stir a few times so you don't burn the bottom.
  4. Transfer the drumsticks to a heatproof dish and place the sauce in the pan in the blender.
  5. Add the cream of milk together in the blender and beat until it's homogeneous, adjust the salt.
  6. Place the mixture from the blender over the drumsticks, cover with the cheese and place in the preheated oven at 220ºC to heat for about 15 minutes.
  7. Serve then accompanied by white rice and straw potatoes.
