- Cashew Nuts25 g
- Roasted Peanuts25 g
- Medium onion1 unit(s)
- Garlic (clove)2 unit(s)
- Fresh ginger (sliced)2 unit(s)
- Dried shrimp70 g
- Palm oil80 ml
- Coriander to taste
- Water (if needed) to taste
- Make a paste with the dried shrimp, ginger, garlic, chestnuts and peanuts. Tip: reserve some whole shrimp for caruru.
- Fry the paste (mixed bottom) in the palm until it releases from the pan, add the okra cut into thin slices, and cook over medium heat until the okra are falling apart.
- If necessary, add a little water. Adjust the final flavor to your liking.
