- Apple of your choice (large)4 unit(s)

- Cinnamon Powder to taste
- Lemon Juice2 unit(s)
- Red wine1/2 cup
- Egg yolk1 unit(s)
- In a bowl put 3 cups of wheat flour, salt and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Mix well and then add the butter. Mix until it turns into a farofinha. After adding the water to make the mass more homogeneous. Put it in a plastic film and take it to the fridge for about 20 minutes.
- While the dough is resting, peel the apples and cut them into cubes or whatever you prefer. Add the lemon juice and set aside.
- In a pan add a cup of sugar and half a cup of water and let the caramelization begin. Then add the apples and cook for about 5 minutes. After adding the cinnamon, the wine, mix and let it cook for another 2 minutes. Reserve
- Assembly: take the dough out of the fridge. Reserve about 1/4 of the dough for finishing. Open the other part of the dough, place it in a mold with a removable bottom (I used a 20cm mold). put the stuffing
- To finish, I opened the 1/4 of the dough that was reserved and cut it into strips. I intertwined to decorate, but you can do as you like.
- Brush egg yolk on top
- Take to bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 45 - 50 minutes
