  • Black pepper to taste
  1. Let's start making the filling for the simple chicken pie recipe. It is important to remember that the seasoning and the elements that go into the filling can change according to your preference: Cook the chicken breast until tender, then shred and set aside; Place the butter in a pan over medium heat, when it melts, add the onion and garlic, season with salt and sauté until golden; Then add the tomatoes, stirring constantly, and leave on the fire until it forms a paste in the pan; To finish, add the chicken breast, carrots, corn and peas, adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, mix everything very well and set aside.

Once the stuffing is done, we can move on to the simple chicken pie recipe dough: In a blender, beat the eggs, milk and oil on low speed; Gradually add the wheat flour; Finally add the salt and yeast and beat quickly, just to mix; When the dough is homogeneous, pour half of the dough into the greased bake; Add the stuffing over the part of the dough that is already on the baking sheet; Cover the filling with the rest of the dough; If desired, add a layer of grated cheese over the pie crust; Then just take it to the preheated oven at 180º C until golden, about 40 minutes.
