- caramel syrup to taste
- Cover a rectangular pan with puff pastry and remove any excess from the edges.
- Peel the apples and cut them in half vertically. Remove the stem and core from each apple.
- Cut the apples into slices and place them in the pan to recreate apple halves.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk, flour, sugar and melted butter with a whisk.
- Pour the mixture between the apples and add brown sugar on top. Bake for 20 minutes at 170 °C.
- Decorate the pie with scoops of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Serve.
