  • Eggs | 3 unit(s)
  • Oil | 120 ml
  • Sugar | 2 cup
  • Milk or pure orange juice | 1 cup
  • Orange Essence | 1 tablespoon
  • Wheat flour | 2.2/5 cup
  • Baking Powder | 1 tablespoon


  1. In a mixer or by hand in a bowl, beat the eggs until pale, then add the sugar, beat again. Add the essence and beat well. Then add the oil and milk or orange juice, mix everything and add the flour little by little, put the flour little by little, the dough gets denser, but it's still a cake dough, so if you want it with 2 cups and ½ of flour is done, do not add 3 cups. Then add the baking powder for cake and mix again until the dough is completely united.
  2. In a greased shape, pour your cake dough and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C, here I baked for 40 minutes, but you need to keep an eye on your oven.
  3. Put it to bake and wait for the first 30 minutes to pass, then keep an eye out, it took 40 minutes, do the toothpick test, stick a toothpick or fork in your cake right in the center, if it comes out clean your cake is baked, if not come out, leave a few more minutes, keep an eye on it. Another tip that helps a lot is, the house started to smell like cake, keep an eye out because it's almost ready.
  4. Never open the oven in the first 30 minutes of oven ok??! This can cause the whole recipe to fall apart, it will be a raw cake inside, crushed, it will wither, it will not grow any more and it will be a catastrophe. It will look awful. Now follow the recipe exactly and you will have an amazing cake.
  5. As much as this cake goes essence, it doesn't lose anything for the one that goes orange, it's just as good. Swear!! It's worth making and enjoying this delight 😋.
