- Boiled and mashed potatoes5 cup
- Calabrian sausage cut into small cubes2 cup
- Butter1 tablespoon
- Whole milk3/4 cup
- Chopped green onion1/4 cup
- Chopped Garlic1 dessert spoon
- Olive oil1 tablespoon
- Sea Salt to taste
- Tomato sauce1.5 cup
- Chopped Onion1/4 cup
- Mozzarella cheese slice4 unit(s)
- Dried Oregano to taste
- In a pan heat the oil and brown the garlic. Add the mashed potatoes and butter and mix.
- Add milk, salt and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes. Turn off the fire, add the onion and mix. Reserve.
- In another pan, fry the sausage until it releases the fat and add the onion. Refog and add the sauce of tomatoes and salt.
- Cook for 10 minutes until the sauce reduces well.
- In a dish that goes in the oven, add the sausage sauce, cover with the mashed potatoes.
- Add the cheese slices and sprinkle the oregano.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 220ÂșC for 15 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
