  • demerara sugar1 cup
  • milk1/2 cup
  • mashed ricotta300 g
  • butter100 g
  • eggs4 unit(s)
  • vanilla extract1 teaspoon
  • baking powder1 teaspoon
  • orange zest1/2 unit(s)
  • sliced almonds50 g
  1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees while you prepare the dough. In the mixer, beat the eggs with sugar. Then put the butter with the milk, the ricotta and beat again. Finally, add the other ingredients and beat until it becomes a mixture with a cake consistency.
  2. Pour into a greased and floured form. Sprinkle the sliced almonds on top. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden Tip: Spread a thin layer of orange jam over the cake, buy it unsweetened or sweetened with sugar from the fruit itself.
