- Wheat flour1 kg
- Salt20 g
- Sugar20 g
- Olive Oil50 ml
- Dry yeast10 g
- Water560 ml
- Mix the dry ingredients.
- Add the yeast and water.
- Mix until a smooth and homogeneous dough forms.
- Add the olive oil and knead until everything is incorporated.
- Let the dough rest in a bowl covered in plastic wrap for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal parts.
- Roll each one of them and let it ferment until it doubles in size.
- On a surface sprinkled with wheat flour, roll out the dough into a circle using a rolling pin.
- Arrange the dough in a pizza pan.
- Now just cover it with the filling of your choice and place it in the oven to bake until it is at the desired doneness.
- This same dough can be closed with filling inside, forming a calzone.
- If you want to make it the size of a pastry and fry it in very hot oil by immersion, it becomes a fogazza. It's very versatile.
