- Wheat flour400 g
- Warm water264 ml
- Salt8 g
- Fresh Organic Yeast15 g
- Smoked pepperoni cut into cubes150 g
- Oregano, sausage and basil to taste
- Place warm water in a large bowl.
- Mix the flour and salt in a smaller bowl.
- Add the yeast into the bowl of water or directly into the flour (see the correct method of mixing the yeast according to the type you use).
- Add the flour and salt mixture to the bowl of water.
- Mix everything with a wooden spoon and then with your hand until it forms a uniform mass. Try to use any flour that sticks to the sides.
- Let it sit for 10 minutes (or up to 30 minutes if you can wait).
- Knead the dough in the bowl itself or on a lightly floured countertop. If in doubt, see how to knead the dough.
- Cover with the other bowl (or with a cloth) and let it rise for about 1 hour until it doubles in size (it's faster if it's hot).
