  • Wheat flour400 g
  • Warm water264 ml
  • Salt8 g
  • Fresh Organic Yeast15 g
  • Smoked pepperoni cut into cubes150 g
  • Oregano, sausage and basil to taste
  1. Place warm water in a large bowl.
  2. Mix the flour and salt in a smaller bowl.
  3. Add the yeast into the bowl of water or directly into the flour (see the correct method of mixing the yeast according to the type you use).
  4. Add the flour and salt mixture to the bowl of water.
  5. Mix everything with a wooden spoon and then with your hand until it forms a uniform mass. Try to use any flour that sticks to the sides.
  6. Let it sit for 10 minutes (or up to 30 minutes if you can wait).
  7. Knead the dough in the bowl itself or on a lightly floured countertop. If in doubt, see how to knead the dough.
  8. Cover with the other bowl (or with a cloth) and let it rise for about 1 hour until it doubles in size (it's faster if it's hot).
