Cook the macaroni as usual.
Note: in the cooking water add 1 tablespoon of salt.
In a pan put the butter and 1 tablespoon of oil and add the chopped onion.
(The oil is so that the butter doesn't burn)
As soon as it starts to fry or starts to lighten, add the seasoning.
Here I used garlic and 1 tablespoon of salt.
Add the flour and let it toast a little.
Once toasted, add the milk, always stirring to avoid lumps.
As soon as the cream thickens, leave it for about 3 minutes (always on low heat).
Then turn it off and add the cream...
Once incorporated, spread over the noodles.
Here I used fried bacon to decorate.
But it could also be chives.
