  • Ground beef800 g
  • Oil2 tablespoon
  • Crushed garlic cloves3 unit(s)
  • Large chopped onion1 unit(s)
  • Chopped skinless and seedless tomatos2 to taste
  • Green Smell1/2 cup
  • Mashed boiled and squeezed cassava1 kg
  • Milk1 cup
  • Butter2 tablespoon
  • Grated Mozzarella Cheese100 g
  • Salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste to taste
  1. In a pan, place the ground beef, oil and fry over medium heat until golden.
  2. Add the garlic, onion and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the tomatoes, season with salt, pepper and fry until the water dries up.
  4. Remove from heat, mix in the green smell and chopped coriander.
  5. Place in a medium refractory and set aside.
  6. In a bowl, place the squeezed cassava, milk, butter, seasonings and mix.
  7. Spread the puree over the refogado, sprinkle with the mozzarella and take it to the medium oven, preheated, for 20 minutes or until the mozzarella melts.
