  • whole and unpeeled apples2 unit(s)
  • eggs3 unit(s)
  • oil1 cup
  • whole wheat flour2 cup
  • oat flakes1 cup
  • baking powder1 tablespoon
  • cinnamon powder1 tablespoon
  • Demerara sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling1 to taste
  1. In a blender, beat the eggs, brown sugar, oil and apple peels. In a bowl, mix the flour with the oats, the yeast and the blender mixture. Add the chopped apples and cinnamon to the mixture. In a baking dish with a hole in the middle or rectangular, greased with oil and wholemeal flour, place the cake mixture. Sprinkle the mixture of demerara sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC. If desired, add to the cake mix, along with the apples, raisins and Brazil nuts.
