  1. Preparation mode In a pan, bring the milk, oil and water to a low heat. Keep an eye on it, as the milk can spill on your stove when boiling. In a bowl, place the sour starch and pour the hot milk little by little and knead to avoid lumps. Add the egg and mix some more. Finally, add the grated cheese. If it doesn't dissolve, you can add a little more hot milk. When the dough is very homogeneous, separate it into balls and make it like a toothpick.
  2. Heat the oil, but don't let it get too hot. Place the cookie sticks inside until they are golden brown. Flip halfway through to brown both sides. Remember to turn the cookies.
  3. Remove and serve! A tip is that between a portion and another that you are frying, let the oil cool, because with the oil too hot the cookie may not be good inside. In order for it to be completely ready, the oil needs to be warm.
